UW-Fond du Lac names new volleyball coach

Jon Fink has been named head coach for the Women’s Volleyball team at the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac.

Fink earned an associate degree from UW-Fond du Lac in 2005 and graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 2002. He has coaching background at the both the club and high school levels. He has also served as assistant coach for the men’s varsity volleyball team at Fond du Lac High School and has helped with various club teams. Fink played high school volleyball at Fond du Lac High School from 1999-2002 in the position of a setter.

Fink’s coaching style is to “lead by example” according to UW-Fond du Lac Athletic Director Lee Watson. “His goal for the season is to instill a positive work ethic in all of his players and to still have fun,” said Watson.

Fink is also employed at Qdoba Mexican Grill as a shift manager and resides in Fond du Lac.
