Fond du Lac, Wis.—The Fond du Lac Chamber Singers will combine with Sheboygan’s Lakeshore Chorale for its 15th annual fall concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, Sacred Heart Church, 200 S. Peters Ave., Fond du Lac.
The program will include selections sung by each choir accompanied by string and brass ensembles. The 60 voices will join together to perform “Vesperes Solennes de Confessore K.339” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart accompanied by orchestra.
Soloists for the evening are soprano Penny Kindraka, alto Laurel Sanders, tenor Paul Thompson and bass Kyle Sternard. The work will be conducted by Patricia Eby, associate professor of music at UW-Fond du Lac.
The Fond du Lac Chamber Singers is a community-student organization in residence at UW-Fond du Lac. The group is celebrating 15 years of providing the community with the enrichment of chamber choral music. Founded and directed by Eby, the ensemble presents a variety of music from all eras and traditions, in particular a bi-annual Celtic concert.
