Multicultural Club at UW-Fond du Lac to dedicate
International Flag Display on Nov. 14

An array of international flags can be seen in the UW-Fond du Lac University Center Commons thanks to the efforts of the Multicultural Club at the campus. The display honors the diverse heritage of UW-Fond du Lac students, alumni, staff and faculty and represents international neighbors and a cross section of the globe.
The club used a portion of its budget over a three year period to purchase the flags.

The UW-Fond du Lac Multicultural Club and UW-Fond du Lac campus will dedicate the International Flag Display at 11 am on Wednesday, Nov. 14 in the UW-Fond du Lac Commons, 400 University Drive. There will be a parade of flags and several speakers will briefly address the meaning of the flag display as a celebration of our diverse heritages and the importance of a global perspective in the 21st century. The public is welcome. Lunch will be available for purchase from Linstrom’s Catering.
