Faculty lecture series planned at UW-Fond du Lac

Fond du Lac, Wis. – Members of the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac will present a series of daytime lectures beginning in November.

There is no cost and the public is welcome to attend any of the lectures to be held at the campus located at 400 University Drive in Fond du Lac. Lectures will be held 11:15-11:45 a.m. in the Large Group Instruction Room in the University Center Building (UC-114).

Nov. 5 – Can a Vegetarian be an Environmentalist? - presented by Roger Rigterink, philosophy professor

Feb. 4 – Hyphens on the Home Front: Ethnicity, Patriotism and War - presented by Lisa Schreibersdorf, English professor.

Mar. 3 – Film Making in Wisconsin - presented by Frances Perkins, communication and theatre arts professor

May 5 – Cinco de Mayo: A Look at Mexico Past and Present - presented by Anita Klatkiewicz, world languages lecturer.
