Professor Valerie Mumm had the opportunity to complete coursework abroad during both of her degree programs. She studied in both Valladolid, Spain and San José, Costa Rica. In addition, she spent four months in Lima, Peru working with children at a local orphanage.

Professor Mumm was most recently a teaching assistant at UW-Milwaukee. She is passionate about traveling and staying active and enjoys hiking, camping, dancing, biking and cooking.
